Mountaineering, Climbing
and Bouldering
Alpine multi-pitch routes of all difficulty levels and many bouldering problems at the end of the Almtal valley are waiting to challenge climbers of every skill level.
For all those with surefootedness who would rather show off their strong arms on a steel cable instead of on a rock, there are also several via ferratas that promise amazing moments.
Via ferratas

Bert-Rinesch via ferrata on the Großer Priel
For early risers and very motivated people, a trip to the Bert-Rinesch via ferrata is definitely worth the effort.
Even on the long ascent, a good portion of stamina is required, for the via ferrata you should pack rations, as the alpine descent requires endurance and concentration.
